Key Commercial Terms Offered to Customers

When buying an item, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it.
  • You enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and complete the checkout payment process.
  • The prices we charge for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.
  • The prices of products and any delivery charges are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes.

Return & Refund Policy

Returns: Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded; unfortunately, sale or clearance items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable): We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@shopflooring.ca.

Transaction Fees: Transaction fees charged by third parties at the point of sale, such as those charged by PayPal, Afterpay & Square, are non-refundable.

Refunds (if applicable): Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain amount of days.

Shipping: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refund Eligibility & Criteria

  • Full Refunds: Full refunds are only offered if the product is found to be faulty.
  • Change of Mind: No refunds will be given if you have simply changed your mind.
  • 30-Day Returns: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
  • 15% Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee may apply once your refund assessment has been completed. Products must also be returned in their original packaging. No restocking fee applies to faulty or warranty returns.

How to Make a Refund Claim

You must have a copy of your invoice number for our team to reference and begin the refund process.

All queries regarding refunds, faults, losses, returns, damage, or product misinformation should be directed to ShopFlooring.ca. All claims will be managed in accordance with our returns policy and within the requirements of Canadian Consumer Laws and any other company policy on such matters.

To avoid doubt, ShopFlooring.ca is not responsible and will not be liable for faulty, negligent, or poor workmanship in the installation of its products where such products were not installed by it or any of its approved agents or contractors.

ShopFlooring.ca strictly does not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases or refunds for the return of extra material purchased that was not required. Pre-fabricated stair nosings are strictly non-refundable once they have been manufactured. If you have any further questions, please contact our team for assistance.

Pricing & Errors on the Site

We reserve the right to update or correct information on the Site at any time without notice. If a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, we have the right to refuse shipment or cancel any order. If your order has already been processed, we will contact you to provide an option to proceed at the correct price or receive a refund.

Amendments to the Terms and Conditions

We have the right to amend these Terms and Conditions where:

  • We need to comply with changes in the law or for regulatory reasons.
  • We need to correct any minor errors or omissions.

Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShopFlooring.ca shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including damages for loss of profits, goodwill, or data, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, our services.
