FastDEK shower bases are constructed using lightweight yet durable compression mold glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) enabling them to support a maximum capacity of 440lbs, with a stone-effect textured surface that helps to improve drainage and aid with slip-resistance.
At only an inch deep, FastDEK bases can either sit on top of or be built into the floor for low or level access, ensuring access for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
