ARDEX GS-4™ Self-Leveling Repair Underlayment for Distressed Gypsum and Wood Subfloors is a blend of high strength gypsum and Portland cements as well as powdered polymers used to repair existing above-grade wood and gypsum floors prior to the installation of new floor coverings.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
