ARDEX UD 150 is a thin (9 mm), mesh-reinforced plastic drainage mat for use under directly adhered tiled surfaces. A 6mm drainage channel allows the free passage of water underneath the tiled surface which speeds up drying after rainfall and reduces the likelihood of efflorescence build-up. ARDEX UD 150 is loose-laid over the membrane which separates the tiled surface from any movement in the substrate.
In addition to its drainage capabilities, ARDEX UD 150 is ideal for soundproofing – providing up to a 16dB improvement in sound reduction.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
