ARDEX X 5 is a highly versatile, polymer-modified, large format and heavy tile and stone mortar for setting porcelain, quarry, ceramic and most natural stone tile over common interior surfaces, including exterior-grade plywood, as well as exterior concrete and masonry surfaces.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
