The UberMat uncoupling membrane eliminates the need for a second layer of 5/8” plywood in most situations. Only 1/8” thick, it provides crack protection for your tiled floor, without adding extra height. A fleece top and bottom, gives thinset on both sides of the membrane a strong adhesion.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
