The bigfoot roller is made with three wide ribbed roller sections. The wide surface area on the ribbed surfaces prevents yarns from being snagged, protecting the yarns of delicate carpet fibers better than star wheels. The ribs also provide concentrated pressure to force the carpet's backing into the hot melt adhesive. This is the best seam roller for fine denier saxony, plush, and velvet carpets.

Installation — Glue-down

Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).

Care & maintenance

Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
