This knife has a 2 1/2" deep hook blade that is ground especially for cutting linoleum. It is a permanent riveted blade and handle combination. (See the Crain No. 066 handle and No. 064 blade for the Dexter interchangeable handle and blade.) The blade of the No. 060 is made from high carbon steel, and is resharpenable. The wood handle is contoured for enhanced grip and has a dark varnished finish.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
