Crain's carpet stretchers — the right tool to make installation faster and cleaner.
Each No. 502 Extension Tube Section can add up to 4' 8" of length to your stretcher in 4" increments. The holes of the tubes are punched rather than drilled for precision and durability. The spring buttons are flat on their top faces for smooth adjustment. The buttons are precisely located within the inner tube, so that they retain hold the outer tube on the inner tube during transport.
Works with other standard size diameter poles. Closed length: 2' 10". Range of useful length adjustment: 3' 4" to 4' 8".

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
