This six foot steel carpet straight edge is precision ground for straightness ± .005" at the time of shipment. It provides the accuracy and durability needed for preparing carpet seam edges when it is necessary to cut them from the carpet's backing. This straight edge includes a 45° angle on one end and a hanging hole. Finished with red paint to help prevent rust. Dimensions: 6' long x 3” wide x 1/8” thick.
