Crain cove base tools. The right piece to finish your installation.
Includes one each replacement blade only for the Crain No. 532 Topset Gouge used to form a 5/32" wide groove on the back side of vinyl or rubber cove base to produce tight-wrapped corners. The groove removes excess fullness at the corner that can cause the base to pucker and form gaps from the wall. Blade is resharpenable.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
