RedGard SpeedCoat is a ready-to-use, fast curing liquid-applied waterproofing membrane for both commercial and residential ceramic and natural stone tile installations. Suited for interior substrates, it creates a continuous waterproofing barrier with outstanding adhesion. It bonds directly to clean metal, PVC, stainless steel, and ABS drain assemblies.
Its cross linking moisture cure technology helps in the ability to flood test and install a shower system in one day unlike typical membranes.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
