For ceramic tile installation work, this set has a heavy duty rectangular construction to make it our straightest and strongest aluminum straight edge set. Both ends of each individual straight edge are plugged with a plastic insert to prevent mortar from weighing down the tool. Clear anodized aluminum construction means this set cannot rust, rot or warp like steel, or wood.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
