For rough cutting new carpet and resilient flooring, this cutter is a very simple tool to use and eliminates crawling. Easy to follow chalk line and make 90° turns. Cutter glides along on a rear mounted ball bearing. Accepts the deepest pile carpet. Handle bar is 17" wide for easy steering. Tool is 35" high and nickel plated. Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
