HENRY® 170 'The General' is a multipurpose adhesive designed for the installation of commercial carpet in light traffic areas like property management and tenant improvement areas. It can also be used for the installation of residential felt-backed sheet flooring. HENRY® 170 provides fast initial set, minimal bond time and sufficient working time.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
