Hydro Ban Preformed Curb is made from high-density expanded polystyrene with a liquid waterproof membrane coating applied to it. Hydro Ban Preformed Curb is lightweight and ready-to-tile. Materials: Utility knife or fine tooth saw, latex fortified large, heavy tile mortar (eg. 4-XLT), 1/2" x 1/2" (12 x 12 mm) square notch trowel and Hydro Ban Adhesive & Sealant.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
