The Millwork Contoured Wall Base from M-D PRO — protects the bottom of the wall and covers the floor's expansion gap.

Shoe mold/door stop is a great alternative to quarter round finishing. It adds a continuation of the colonial design to the base while also hiding any imperfections, gaps and height differences between laid flooring surfaces and the baseboard. This profile is often used as a door stop as well.
