The MARSHALLTOWN Standard Notched Trowels are the best Tile Trowel for any professional tiler. These versatile Notched Trowels can be used to complete any and all types of tiling, from floors, walls, or a kitchen backsplash to the most intricate mosaic work. Each of our 11" x 4-1/2" Notched Trowels have an aluminum alloy mounting riveted to a hard tempered steel blade that is flexible yet durable.
MARSHALLTOWN offers four notch shape options: Square, U-Shape, V-Shape, or the deep U-notched Elliptical. You can also choose the best notch size and handle material to fit your needs. Choose between a soft grip DuraSoft, curved hardwood, or straight hardwood handle angled for either right or left-handed use. All variants of this notched trowel are Made in the USA with Global Materials.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
