Its durable, yet lightweight low friction polymer blade material is impact-resistant, easy to clean, and won’t absorb liquid, preventing corrosion and rust.
The blade is also shaped with rounded edges so this tool glides over concrete without gouging the surface. Each White Lightning Hand Float comes with a comfortable DuraSoft handle that provides a soft grip feel that reduces fatigue.

Installation — Floating click-lock
- Let the material acclimate flat in the room for 48 hours before you start.
- Lay over a clean, dry, level subfloor — add the recommended underlay first.
- Click-lock the planks and float the floor; leave a 1/4" expansion gap at every wall.
- Stagger end joints by at least 6" and finish with quarter-round or transition strips.
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
