When performing detailed cutting, you need a sharp knife. Enter the OLFA XA-1 Fiberglass-Reinforced Precision Knife. This 9mm pen-like handle has an ergonomic design for comfort with a rubber grip for control. The end-cap acts as both a pocket clip and blade snapper. This precision tool comes preloaded with an Ultra-Sharp Black Blade. The dual-honed blade is 25% sharper than standard silver blades.
A stainless-steel channel supports the blade to maintain accurate cutting. The blade offers 13 segments that snap for quick access to a fresh tip. Blade changes are tool-free to maintain work efficiency. The auto-lock actuator moves the blade through several preset detents for easy cutting.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
