Our Standard Issue Backer Pads are available in three different types to fit the needs of our customers, depending on the tasks at hand. The backer pads are available in a Rigid (No Flex), Rubber (Minimal Flex), and Soft Rubber (Highly Flexible) density. Each backer pad has a Velcro face, to mount one of our polishing pad options, and a 5/8"-11 Threaded Adapter, to fit onto any grinder.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
