PROSTAIR is a step nosing profile used to improve slip and slide resistance on the step, to protect ceramic steps and to prevent accidents. It consists of a rigid ALUMINIUM base and a changeable vinyl rubber insert available in various colours and widths. Compulsory in public environments to comply with EEC accident-prevention standards.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
