The Acoustic Underlayment from ProSolutions — adds cushioning, sound-dampening and a smoother subfloor.
IXPE (Irradiated Cross-Linked Polyethylene) foam is a premium acoustical membrane, with aluminum foil and self adhesive tape, is 100% waterproof and impervious to mildew, mold and bacteria. Can be used combined with all floating floors.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
