White Rubber Tile Tapping Mallet by QEP. The QEP model 61613, 16 oz White Rubber Mallet is ideal for tapping tile into thinset, as well as many other uses. The white rubber head is specifically designed for minimum bounce when striking and will not mar surfaces. The slightly contoured hardwood handle provides a comfortable, firm grip.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
