QEP's Natural Cork Underlayment is an outstanding sound barrier for all types of flooring. Besides being an environmentally friendly option, cork is also a healthy choice. It's naturally hypoallergenic, as well as mold and mildew resistant. Natural Cork Underlayment reduces sound transmission and helps protect flooring from the transfer of subfloor stress cracks.
It also reduces thermal transmission, making it ideal for use with radiant heat systems. QEP Natural Cork products are FloorScore Certified for healthier indoor air quality may contribute towards satisfying credits under the LEED Green Building Program.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
