QEP Adjustable Floor Scraper and Stripper with 8". Wide Replaceable Carbon Steel Blade is the ideal tool to remove old flooring and prepare the surface for a new installation. It is fitted with a 15° angled head to effectively scrape off old tile, adhesive, vinyl, carpet and other floor covering materials. Its 8" carbon steel blade delivers superior hardness, strength and durability.
It has a twist-lock adjustable telescoping handle that extends from 3 ft to 6 ft in length, to adapt to the desired degree of pressure, locking in both directions to stay locked in position. Designed for right and left hand use. Includes 1 blade already positioned at the time of purchase, and a canvas blade guard for safety. Uses replacement blade Model # 62904Q.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
