ROBERTS 8502 Latex Carpet Seam Sealer is a high-quality natural latex adhesive formulated for seam sealing carpet, sealing raw edges, binding, strengthening worn backings and applying new backings on area rugs. Powered by Microban, this antimicrobial product protection helps fight the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria that can cause product degradation.
For use only in interior installations, ROBERTS 8502 has excellent elasticity and stretching properties, and can be used to increase slip resistance on mats and rugs.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
