The ROBERTS 10-128 Carpet Stretcher was designed to quickly and accurately match patterns during carpet installation and repair. This stretcher may also be used to correct bowing and skewing in new carpet, and stretch carpet across a room. Measuring less than 2 ft long, this stretcher is compact and easy to maneuver in the room. Constructed of die cast aluminum, the 10-128 holds up to 300 lbs of stretch tension.
This stretcher includes a removable powerhead, tailblade attachment and an automatic locking feature.

Installation — Floating click-lock
- Let the material acclimate flat in the room for 48 hours before you start.
- Lay over a clean, dry, level subfloor — add the recommended underlay first.
- Click-lock the planks and float the floor; leave a 1/4" expansion gap at every wall.
- Stagger end joints by at least 6" and finish with quarter-round or transition strips.
Care & maintenance
- Vacuum regularly; blot spills immediately rather than rubbing.
- Have it professionally deep-cleaned every 12–18 months.
