Schluter-BARA-ESOT is a stainless steel baseboard support profile used to install tile over a surface that cannot stably support the baseboard - such as a metal flashing or bitumen waterproofing layer - used at floor/wall transitions in balcony and deck construction.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
