Schluter-DILEX-EKSB is a surface joint profile used to separate fields of floor tile while providing structural stress relief. This stainless steel profile is specifically designed for thinner floor coverings with a grooved tile support surface and soft thermoplastic joint to prevent damage due to movement over time.
The rubber insert allows you to match the profile to the decorative themes of the room being tiled, while the durability of the steel sides ensures that the profile holds steadfast to foot traffic. The EKSB45HB profile has a light beige finish that adds clean, decorative lines to any room.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
