Schluter corners edge profiles — matches your floor to trim out doorways, edges and stairs.
The SCHIENE-STEP profile is a finishing and edge protection profile for ceramic or natural stone tiles that can be installed on stairs, countertops and old wall tiles. The top of the profile has a vertical face that finishes and protects the tile, while the vertical fin covers the edge of the sub-assembly, the top of the riser or the edge of the existing wall.

- Has an integrated grout joint spacer to create a uniform space between the tiles and the profile (anodized aluminum model only)

- 90° and 135° inside and outside corners, fittings and end caps are available in brushed stainless steel only

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
