Sikafloor-317 UV is a two-component, water-borne, low odour, non-yellowing acrylic-aliphatic polyurethane top coat. This high performance clear resin contains a unique UV blocker technology that provides superior ultraviolet light screening properties that significantly improves colour retention values of underlying resin floor systems.
It has excellent clarity applied as a matte finish which eliminates reflective gloss on general service or decorative Sikafloor and Sikagard resin floor and wall systems. Sikafloor-317 UV has compatible thermal shock resistance when applied over Sikafloor PurCem mortar systems to minimize UV related colour change.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
