Builder Board is a reusable, heavy-duty floor protection board designed for commercial and residential contractors. Builder Board replaces the need for large, bulky sheets of masonite and rolls out flat. Designed with Liquid Shield technology, this temporary surface protection product defends against water, paint, mud, heavy machinery, and foot traffic.
Made from 100% recycled paper materials, Builder Board is breathable, easy to install and provides floor protection to a wide range of flooring types such as concrete floors, linoleum floors, hardwood floors, and more. Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
