Tack strip has more plywood, more pins, more pre-nails per carton than any other brand. We use only premium birch plywood made to our specifications. We do not “buy” plywood; we have it “made”. We use only high strength carbon steel nails from non-Chinese manufacturers. Our products are designed from the floor up and so is our equipment.
Our manufacturing machines are designed and built in-house — in our own machine shop. They are truly “one of a kind.”.

Installation — Nail / staple-down
- Acclimate solid wood 3–5 days to match your home's humidity.
- Install a vapor-barrier underlayment over a plywood subfloor.
- Blind-nail or staple each board through the tongue with a flooring nailer.
- Leave a 1/2" expansion gap at the walls and cover it with baseboard or quarter-round.
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
