The bent blade of this stair tool is helpful when it is necessary to tuck carpet under toe spaces. It is also helpful for tucking carpet underneath Z-bar and under heat registers. The smooth tapered blade will not snag or cut the carpet. The four inch blade tucks a wide section of carpet each time it is malleted. Forged from an impact-resistant steel alloy, and nickel plated.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
