This tool trims excess carpet at the wall, leaving just the right amount for tucking between the base board and the tackless strip. With this trimmer, blades are easily changed by removing the blade carrier. Once the blade carrier is removed, the blades are accessible from the top of the blade carrier.

To reinsert the blade carrier, insert one of the pointed edges into a relief in a shim and lift the blade carrier to separate the shims. For throat adjustment, as the blade carrier is reinserted, locate the blade carrier dimples into any of four sockets formed on every shim. Six shims are provided for blade height adjustment, and each shim includes four sockets for throat adjustment. Blades: 184.
