DURA-SON MB 3.5 mm is a premium vapor barrier underlayment for floating laminate and engineered wood floors. This moisture barrier underlayment is ideal for your floating installations in condos, hotels, commercial spaces, and private residences. DURA-SON MB 3.5 mm laminate underlay offers very high acoustic performance. On a 6" concrete slab, the IIC is 74 with a suspended ceiling.

Installation — Floating click-lock
- Let the material acclimate flat in the room for 48 hours before you start.
- Lay over a clean, dry, level subfloor — add the recommended underlay first.
- Click-lock the planks and float the floor; leave a 1/4" expansion gap at every wall.
- Stagger end joints by at least 6" and finish with quarter-round or transition strips.
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
