DURA-SON 3.5 mm is a premium acoustic underlayment for laminate and engineered hardwood floors. This acoustical underlayment is ideal for condos, hotels, commercial spaces, and private residences. DURA-SON 3.5 mm laminate underlay offers very high acoustic performance. On a 6" concrete slab, the IIC is 74 with a suspended ceiling.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
