HYDRO BAN Sheet is a waterproof membrane that is installed with a suitable LATICRETE Thin Substrate. Because of its polymer construction, HYDRO BAN Sheet can also be used as a vapour barrier/waterproofing membrane for steam room and steam shower applications.
Available in rolls, tapes, corners and collars, HYDRO BAN Sheet provides a quick and easy waterproof installation that will maintain its integrity for the life of the installation.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
