HYDRO BAN Sheet Membrane is a waterproofing membrane designed to be installed over the appropriate LATICRETE substrate and thin-set mortar. Because of its polymeric construction, HYDRO BAN sheet membrane can also be used as a barrier/waterproofing membrane in steam baths and showers.
Available in rolls, tapes, wedges and clamps, HYDRO BAN sheet membrane provides quick, easy and watertight installations that maintain the integrity of the system's life.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
