Ultrabond ECO 220 is a high-solids, latex-based adhesive designed specifically for installing carpet and felt-backed vinyl sheet flooring. Its unique formulation is perfectly suited for commercial flooring applications where heavy traffic is expected. Ultrabond ECO 220 also exhibits an extended working time, making it ideal for the installation of patterned carpets.
It may be used in both direct and double glue-down installation methods for carpet.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
