ROBERTS 7051 Wall Base Adhesive is formulated for interior installation of vinyl, rubber, and carpet wall base, and to bond with concrete, gypsum drywall, brick, concrete block, wood, and properly cured plaster. Powered by Microban, this antimicrobial product protection helps fight the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria that can cause product degradation.
This is a superior performing wall base adhesive with quick grab and rapid set-up for fast installation of wall base. It covers up to 240 linear ft. per gallon depending on trowel type, substrate and installation conditions. It has an open time of up to 10 minutes, up to 30 minutes working time, and 8 to 10 hours curing time.
It offers a 2-year shelf life from date of production when stored in original unopened container, and a lifetime warranty for installations performed by a Flooring Industry Association Certified Professional. This is an environmentally friendly formulation that is odorless when dry. VOC < 1 g/L. Made in Canada.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
