These solid aluminum nails can be hammered into pre-drilled holes to fasten tackless strip or metal moldings down onto concrete subfloors, or onto tile or stone when necessary. The semi-square body compresses and holds against the walls of a pre-drilled 1/8" hole. Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
