This is genuine linoleum in a click-together format: linseed oil, pine rosin and wood flour, coloured right through the wear surface rather than printed onto it. Forbo finishes its Marmoleum lines with Topshield2, a factory-applied surface treatment: no initial polishing, and routine care is dry sweeping plus damp mopping. The panels lock together mechanically and float over the subfloor, so there is no adhesive to trowel and the floor can be walked on as soon as it is down. Follow the manufacturer's own subfloor and room-suitability guidance for this line.
The 25-year warranty ensures long-lasting quality, while the topshield double uv cured layer finish creates a versatile atmosphere, perfect for any room.

Installation — Floating click-lock
- Let the material acclimate flat in the room for 48 hours before you start.
- Lay over a clean, dry, level subfloor — add the recommended underlay first.
- Click-lock the planks and float the floor; leave a 1/4" expansion gap at every wall.
- Stagger end joints by at least 6" and finish with quarter-round or transition strips.
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
