The wear surface is real linoleum — linseed oil, pine rosin and wood flour rather than a printed plastic film — so the colour is in the material itself and wears in as patina instead of wearing through. Forbo finishes its Marmoleum lines with Topshield2, a factory-applied surface treatment: no initial polishing, and routine care is dry sweeping plus damp mopping. Panels join with a mechanical locking profile and float — a glue-free install you can walk on straight away. Check the manufacturer's own guidance for subfloor preparation and where the line may be used.
The 25-year warranty ensures long-lasting quality, while the topshield double uv cured layer finish creates a versatile atmosphere, perfect for any room.

Installation — Floating click-lock
- Let the material acclimate flat in the room for 48 hours before you start.
- Lay over a clean, dry, level subfloor — add the recommended underlay first.
- Click-lock the planks and float the floor; leave a 1/4" expansion gap at every wall.
- Stagger end joints by at least 6" and finish with quarter-round or transition strips.
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
