Ultrabond ECO 611 is a traditional, latex-modified asphalt emulsion adhesive specifically designed for the value-conscious installer of vinyl composition tile (VCT). Quick dry times, superb tack and easy trowelability make Ultrabond ECO 611 an excellent choice for VCT installations. Use over approved substrates including properly prepared existing cutback adhesive residue and existing VCT.
Ultrabond ECO 611 also can be used directly over MAPEI’s Planiseal™ EMB moisture barrier when installing VCT over it, provided that the surface is smooth and flat.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
