Tarkett Tactile Warning are manufactured from a homogeneous composition of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), high quality additives, and colorants to meet the performance and design requirements of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A117.1 - 1986, Accessible Warnings on Walking Surfaces to identify open stairwells, platforms, and other hazardous areas.
Standard formulation exceeds ASTM E 648 Class 1 Flammability requirements. Tarkett Tactile Warning are designed for interior applications only and not recommended for commercial kitchen environments.

Installation — Glue-down
- Acclimate the material and make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and flat.
- Spread the recommended adhesive with the correct-notch trowel; work in small sections.
- Set each piece into the wet adhesive and roll the floor to ensure full transfer.
- Keep traffic off until the adhesive fully cures (check the adhesive label).
Care & maintenance
- Sweep or dry-mop regularly; damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly and use felt pads under furniture.
