Forbo finishes its Marmoleum lines with Topshield2, a factory-applied surface treatment: no initial polishing, and routine care is dry sweeping plus damp mopping. It is not a wet-area floor, though: the backing is natural jute, so clean it damp rather than wet, deal with standing spills promptly, and avoid rooms where water can pool or rise through the slab.
