Real linoleum is made from linseed oil, pine rosin, wood flour and limestone on a natural jute backing — renewable raw materials rather than PVC. Because the colour goes right through the sheet, wear shows as patina rather than a worn-out print. Linoleum earns its keep in schools, healthcare and offices, where it takes years of traffic.
