Real linoleum is made from linseed oil, pine rosin, wood flour and limestone on a natural jute backing — renewable raw materials rather than PVC. Forbo finishes its Marmoleum lines with Topshield2, a factory-applied surface treatment: no initial polishing, and routine care is dry sweeping plus damp mopping.
